This role is positioned within a forward-looking fintech environment focused on enhancing digital payment ecosystems across the UAE. As a Digital Payments Strategy Analyst, you will contribute to the strategic evolution of payment products, combining data-driven insights with market intelligence to improve performance, scalability, and customer adoption.
You will not only analyze existing systems but also help define the future direction of digital payment offerings.
Key Performance Outcomes (First 6–12 Months)
- Deliver actionable insights on payment usage trends and customer behavior
- Improve transaction success rates through data-backed recommendations
- Support the rollout of at least one new payment feature or enhancement
- Identify inefficiencies in payment flows and propose optimization strategies
- Contribute to increased adoption of digital payment channels
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Analysis
- Evaluate performance of digital payment channels (cards, wallets, transfers)
- Analyze customer transaction behavior and usage patterns
- Conduct competitor and market benchmarking
Product & Business Support
- Collaborate with product teams to refine payment solutions
- Provide analytical support for new product initiatives
- Assist in defining pricing and fee structures
Data & Reporting
- Develop dashboards and reports for senior stakeholders
- Monitor KPIs such as transaction volumes, conversion rates, and failure rates
- Translate complex data into clear business insights
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in fintech, payments, or financial analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
- Basic knowledge of SQL or similar query languages
- Understanding of payment systems and financial data structures
