An internationally expanding fintech enterprise is seeking an accomplished Global Director – Fintech API Ecosystems & Platform Integration to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade API platforms connecting financial institutions, payment providers, digital banks, and enterprise clients.
This leadership role is ideal for professionals passionate about building highly scalable financial ecosystems that enable seamless connectivity, secure transactions, and next-generation digital financial experiences.
Primary Responsibilities
Platform Strategy
- Design enterprise API architecture.
- Expand financial connectivity solutions.
- Lead open banking integration initiatives.
- Develop enterprise interoperability frameworks.
- Improve API governance and lifecycle management.
Technology Leadership
- Lead platform engineering teams.
- Establish cloud-native integration standards.
- Optimize system scalability and reliability.
- Introduce automation across platform operations.
- Drive engineering excellence.
Business Collaboration
- Partner with executive stakeholders.
- Coordinate multinational technology initiatives.
- Support commercial product launches.
- Deliver strategic platform performance reporting.
Professional Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in fintech engineering or enterprise integration.
- Extensive knowledge of API ecosystems and cloud platforms.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
