A globally connected fintech organization is expanding its Payment Engineering Division and is seeking a Staff Digital Payments Developer to design, build, and optimize highly resilient payment ecosystems that process millions of secure financial transactions daily.
This is an opportunity to contribute to mission-critical financial infrastructure supporting instant payments, merchant acquiring, digital wallets, payment gateways, virtual cards, settlement platforms, and next-generation commerce technologies. You’ll collaborate with world-class engineers and architects to build software where every millisecond matters.
Your Strategic Responsibilities
- Architect high-availability payment processing platforms.
- Develop low-latency transaction switching services.
- Engineer merchant acquiring and payment orchestration systems.
- Design secure payment APIs for enterprise integrations.
- Build real-time settlement and reconciliation engines.
- Implement event-driven financial processing pipelines.
- Optimize transaction throughput and database performance.
- Integrate domestic and international payment networks.
- Lead technical architecture reviews and engineering governance.
- Mentor engineering teams while driving software craftsmanship and innovation.
Professional Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
- 7+ years of enterprise software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java, Go, or C++.
- Experience designing distributed financial systems.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL, Redis, and event streaming technologies.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of secure financial software development principles.
- Strong analytical and technical leadership capabilities.
