An internationally respected fintech innovator is seeking an exceptional Director, Financial Platform Development to design and deliver enterprise-scale financial platforms that redefine digital banking, payment orchestration, embedded finance, and intelligent transaction processing across the GCC and global markets.
As part of a high-performing technology organization, you’ll collaborate with software architects, AI engineers, DevSecOps specialists, cybersecurity experts, and product strategists to create resilient financial platforms capable of processing millions of secure transactions every day.

Primary Responsibilities
- Architect enterprise-grade fintech platforms with cloud-native technologies.
- Build secure payment processing engines and financial workflow services.
- Develop API-first banking ecosystems supporting Open Finance initiatives.
- Design event-driven microservices for mission-critical financial operations.
- Integrate banking networks, payment gateways, and financial service providers.
- Optimize application performance, resilience, and scalability.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and encryption frameworks.
- Lead engineering reviews, technical governance, and software quality initiatives.
- Mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams and foster a culture of innovation.
- Collaborate with product leadership to translate strategic objectives into scalable software solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Minimum 7 years of enterprise software development experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Go, or C#.
- Experience with Spring Boot, ASP.NET Core, or Quarkus.
- Expertise in cloud-native application development.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Excellent knowledge of distributed systems and software architecture.
- Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
