The Data Mission
Build the governance and intelligence framework that ensures financial data is accurate, traceable, accessible and fit for decision-making.
The Specialist will work across data engineering, finance, risk and business teams to establish reliable data structures and controls supporting reporting, analytics and digital-finance products.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish data-governance standards across financial datasets.
- Define data-quality rules, ownership models and validation processes.
- Develop frameworks for data lineage and traceability.
- Identify inconsistencies across customer, transaction and financial datasets.
- Work with engineering teams to resolve recurring data-quality issues.
- Establish monitoring for completeness, accuracy, timeliness and consistency.
- Develop data dictionaries and business definitions for critical financial metrics.
- Support development of analytical datasets for finance, risk and product teams.
- Investigate discrepancies between source systems and reporting platforms.
- Develop dashboards measuring data-quality performance.
- Contribute to data-platform and governance initiatives.
- Advise stakeholders on appropriate use and interpretation of financial data.
Professional Requirements
- 5+ years in data governance, financial analytics, data quality, fintech or banking technology.
- Strong SQL and data-analysis capabilities.
- Experience with data-quality frameworks and data-management processes.
- Understanding of financial and transactional datasets.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms and BI technologies.
- Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or a related discipline.

Indicative Compensation: BHD 2,800–4,200 per month + benefits.
