Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain robust, secure, and scalable applications that support high-volume transaction processing and data-driven financial services. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a passion for building reliable software in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy secure, scalable software applications and APIs
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner
- Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Contribute to system architecture and technical design discussions
- Work with CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing and deployment processes
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining production-grade applications
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices and data protection principles
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Experience with backend frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Node.js, .NET, Django)
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) is a plus
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of database design and query optimization (SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of encryption, authentication, and authorization protocols (OAuth2, JWT)
- Experience with unit testing and test automation frameworks
