About the Opportunity
An expanding financial technology organization is seeking an accomplished Senior Fintech Software Developer to help build next-generation financial platforms serving enterprise clients across the Middle East and international markets. This position offers the opportunity to architect highly scalable financial ecosystems capable of processing millions of secure digital transactions while driving innovation across payments, digital wallets, lending platforms, and financial APIs.
The successful candidate will collaborate with software architects, cloud engineers, cybersecurity specialists, AI teams, and product leaders to deliver resilient, high-performance fintech products that comply with international financial technology standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-grade fintech applications.
- Build secure RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Develop payment gateway integrations.
- Implement Open Banking API standards.
- Optimize high-volume transaction processing systems.
- Build cloud-native financial applications.
- Develop scalable backend infrastructures.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines.
- Improve application security and performance.
- Create reusable software components.
- Participate in system architecture decisions.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot production issues efficiently.
- Produce technical documentation following global standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java, Kotlin, Python, or C#.
- Experience with Spring Boot, .NET Core, or Node.js.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with payment systems or financial platforms.
- Strong understanding of API security.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect.
- Experience using Git and Agile methodologies.
