A highly skilled Shipping Fintech Integration Engineer is required to build and maintain API-based integrations connecting shipping platforms, payment systems, customs networks, and trade finance services.
This fully remote engineering role focuses on system interoperability, API connectivity, and logistics-finance digital infrastructure.
Core Mission
To build integration systems that ensure:
- Seamless connectivity between shipping and fintech platforms

Primary Responsibilities
1. API Integration for Shipping Platforms
- Develop and maintain APIs connecting shipping management systems with payment gateways and financial platforms.
- Ensure smooth data exchange between logistics, finance, and trade systems.
- Improve system reliability and integration performance.
2. Logistics & Financial Systems Connectivity
- Build integrations between freight tracking systems, invoicing platforms, and trade finance applications.
- Enable real-time synchronization of shipping status and payment status.
- Support automation of logistics-financial workflows.
3. Platform Scalability & System Optimization
- Optimize backend systems for high-volume logistics and transaction processing.
- Ensure stable performance under cross-border shipping loads.
- Improve system architecture for scalability and resilience.
4. Cross-Functional Engineering Collaboration
- Work with product, operations, logistics providers, and fintech teams.
- Translate shipping business requirements into technical integration solutions.
- Support deployment of new logistics-fintech features and systems.

- 6–10+ years in backend engineering, integration engineering, or fintech systems roles
