Role Overview
A high-growth fintech ecosystem in Dubai is seeking a visionary and detail-driven Senior UX/UI Designer – Digital Payments Experience, Fintech Product Design & Human-Centered Interfaces to craft seamless, intuitive, and high-performance user experiences across its financial platforms.
This role is far beyond visual design—it is about architecting trust, clarity, and efficiency into financial interactions. You will design experiences that simplify complex financial workflows such as payments, onboarding, identity verification, and transaction tracking, ensuring users feel confident and in control at every touchpoint.
You will work at the intersection of design, psychology, and financial technology, transforming intricate backend systems into elegant, user-friendly interfaces.
Core Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end user experiences for fintech products, including payments, wallets, and dashboards
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver scalable solutions
- Optimize user flows for efficiency, clarity, and engagement
- Develop and maintain design systems and UI components
- Ensure consistency across web and mobile platforms
- Incorporate accessibility and usability best practices
- Analyze user behavior and iterate designs based on data
- Ensure compliance with UAE digital and financial standards
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders
- Stay updated on UX/UI trends and fintech innovations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI or product design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating fintech or digital product design
- Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience designing financial or payment applications
- Knowledge of design systems and component libraries
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS)
- Exposure to user analytics and A/B testing
