Role Overview
A forward-looking fintech ecosystem in Dubai is seeking a purpose-driven and analytically rigorous Senior Sustainable Finance / ESG Analyst – Green Fintech Strategy, Climate Risk Analytics & Impact Reporting to integrate sustainability principles into digital financial products and investment strategies.
This role is positioned at the convergence of finance, technology, and environmental responsibility, where you will evaluate ESG risks, design sustainable financial frameworks, and develop data-driven insights that guide responsible investment and product innovation.
You will play a critical role in transforming sustainability from a compliance requirement into a strategic growth engine, embedding ESG considerations into lending, payments, digital assets, and investment platforms.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct ESG risk assessments across financial products and portfolios
- Develop frameworks for integrating sustainability into fintech solutions
- Analyze climate risk, carbon exposure, and environmental impact metrics
- Build ESG scoring models and sustainability dashboards
- Support development of green financial products and services
- Ensure alignment with UAE sustainability regulations and global ESG standards
- Prepare ESG reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with data teams to integrate ESG data into analytics platforms
- Monitor sustainability trends and regulatory developments
- Conduct scenario analysis and climate stress testing
- Support investment decision-making with ESG insights
- Promote responsible and ethical financial practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Environmental Science, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in ESG analysis, sustainable finance, or risk management
- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks and climate risk modeling
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with carbon accounting and climate analytics
- Knowledge of global ESG standards (TCFD, SASB, GRI)
- Familiarity with fintech platforms and digital financial services
- Exposure to impact investing and green finance
