Position Overview

An advanced digital finance ecosystem operating within the rapidly evolving Gulf fintech landscape is seeking an exceptionally analytical and technically sophisticated Senior Smart Contract Security Auditor to strengthen the integrity, resilience, and operational trustworthiness of mission-critical blockchain infrastructures. This role is designed for elite blockchain security professionals capable of navigating complex decentralized architectures, conducting deep-level smart contract reviews, and proactively identifying vulnerabilities across large-scale fintech environments involving tokenization, DeFi protocols, digital custody systems, cross-chain interoperability mechanisms, stablecoin infrastructures, and institutional digital asset operations.

The successful candidate will become part of a highly advanced blockchain assurance function responsible for safeguarding high-value decentralized financial ecosystems servicing institutional investors, enterprise treasury systems, digital banking frameworks, and next-generation payment infrastructures across the GCC region and global financial corridors.

Core Responsibilities

Smart Contract Security Auditing & Assessment

• Conduct extensive line-by-line manual audits of Solidity-based smart contracts deployed across Ethereum-compatible networks.
• Review and analyze smart contract logic governing decentralized exchanges, liquidity pools, staking infrastructures, yield optimization engines, digital wallets, DAO governance systems, and institutional asset tokenization platforms.
• Identify and classify vulnerabilities including:
  • Reentrancy attacks
  • Oracle manipulation
  • Integer overflow/underflow
  • Flash loan exploit vectors
  • Signature replay attacks
  • Privilege escalation
  • Front-running exposure
  • Governance manipulation risks
  • Access control weaknesses
  • Cross-chain bridge vulnerabilities
• Produce detailed audit findings with risk severity classifications, technical exploit scenarios, remediation guidance, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
• Evaluate gas optimization opportunities without compromising security integrity.

Blockchain Infrastructure Security

• Assess Layer-1 and Layer-2 blockchain integrations for operational resilience.
• Review validator architecture security and decentralized consensus interactions.
• Audit multisig treasury mechanisms and institutional custody workflows.
• Validate cryptographic implementation standards and secure key management practices.
• Perform transaction simulation testing under adversarial scenarios.

Offensive Security & Penetration Testing

• Execute blockchain-focused penetration testing campaigns.
• Simulate malicious exploit conditions against DeFi infrastructures.
• Conduct adversarial testing against governance protocols and token economics models.
• Develop exploit reproduction environments within controlled staging systems.
• Utilize fuzzing frameworks and symbolic execution tools to uncover hidden vulnerabilities.

Regulatory & Governance Assurance

• Support fintech governance teams in implementing secure blockchain operational standards.
• Align smart contract review methodologies with international digital asset compliance frameworks.
• Assist internal stakeholders with blockchain risk governance reporting.
• Participate in pre-deployment security certification processes.

Candidate Requirements

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:

Professional Experience

• 5–10 years of advanced cybersecurity or blockchain engineering experience.
• Minimum 3 years dedicated specifically to smart contract auditing and blockchain security analysis.
• Demonstrated experience auditing large-scale DeFi or fintech blockchain ecosystems.
• Proven record identifying high-severity vulnerabilities in production blockchain environments.
