The Opportunity
A multinational financial technology organization is seeking an accomplished Senior Managing Director – FinTech Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering to lead the architecture and engineering of mission-critical financial systems powering digital banking, enterprise payments, and intelligent financial services.
This executive position requires a transformational technology leader capable of building resilient cloud ecosystems, modern engineering practices, scalable payment platforms, and secure enterprise infrastructure supporting international financial operations.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise cloud engineering strategy.
- Lead modernization of banking infrastructure.
- Build highly available payment platforms.
- Drive cloud-native financial transformation.
- Oversee enterprise architecture governance.
- Improve operational resilience and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, compliance, and commercial leadership.
- Lead engineering innovation programmes.
- Develop enterprise DevSecOps maturity.
- Mentor engineering directors and principal architects.
- Support international business expansion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Cloud Computing, or Financial Technology.
- Minimum 15 years of engineering leadership experience.
- Extensive experience designing enterprise-scale financial platforms.
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and distributed systems.
- Proven leadership managing multinational engineering organizations.
- Exceptional strategic planning and communication skills.
