Role Summary
A forward-thinking financial technology organization is recruiting a Senior Financial Cybersecurity Analyst to strengthen enterprise security across digital financial platforms. This role focuses on protecting sensitive financial systems against sophisticated cyber threats while ensuring operational resilience and regulatory compliance.
The ideal professional combines deep technical expertise with analytical thinking to proactively identify risks, respond to incidents, and continuously improve the organization’s cybersecurity posture.
Primary Responsibilities
- Monitor financial systems for security threats and anomalies.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration test coordination.
- Develop security policies and technical controls.
- Investigate cyber incidents and coordinate response activities.
- Implement identity and access management strategies.
- Support secure software development initiatives.
- Collaborate with fraud prevention and risk management teams.
- Maintain compliance with international cybersecurity standards.
- Prepare executive security reports and recommendations.
- Deliver security awareness training across technical teams.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years in cybersecurity within financial services or fintech.
- Experience with SIEM platforms, endpoint security, cloud security, and threat intelligence.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, PCI-DSS, and secure network architecture.
- Experience responding to cyber incidents and digital fraud investigations.
