Role Overview
Global trade is being redefined by digitization, yet trade finance remains one of the most paper-heavy and fragmented segments of financial services. This role is for a fintech professional who can transform traditional trade finance into a fully digital, automated ecosystem.
You will lead the development of platforms that enable real-time financing of supply chains, connecting buyers, suppliers, financial institutions, and logistics partners into a unified digital framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage digital trade finance platforms, including invoice financing, factoring, and supply chain lending
- Automate workflows such as document verification, approval processes, and payment execution
- Integrate platforms with ERP systems, logistics platforms, and banking infrastructure
- Develop risk models tailored to supply chain financing scenarios
- Enhance transparency using real-time tracking and data-sharing capabilities
- Monitor KPIs such as financing volume, approval times, and default rates
- Ensure compliance with trade finance regulations and international standards
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Business, or Technology
- 9+ years in trade finance, fintech, or supply chain finance
- Strong understanding of working capital solutions and trade finance instruments
- Experience with digital platforms and API integrations
- Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder ecosystems
Preferred Skills
- Experience with blockchain in trade finance
- Knowledge of cross-border trade regulations
- Familiarity with risk analytics and credit modeling
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
