Role Overview
A rapidly scaling fintech ecosystem is building an integrated financial super-app designed to unify payments, savings, lending, investments, and lifestyle financial services into a single user-centric platform.
The objective is to deliver a seamless, intuitive financial experience that replaces fragmented apps with a cohesive ecosystem capable of supporting millions of users.
To drive this vision, the organization is seeking a Head of Financial Super-App Engineering.
This role is responsible for building and scaling the technical foundation of a multi-service fintech platform—ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability across all user interactions.
Core Responsibilities
Super-App Architecture & Engineering
- Design scalable architecture for multi-service fintech platforms.
- Integrate diverse financial services into a unified system.
- Ensure seamless interaction between platform components.
- Support rapid deployment of new features and services.
Consumer Platform Development
- Build systems supporting payments, transfers, lending, and savings.
- Enable real-time financial interactions and notifications.
- Optimize user experience across mobile and web platforms.
- Collaborate with product and design teams.
Scalability & Performance Optimization
- Ensure systems can handle large-scale user growth.
- Optimize performance under high transaction volumes.
- Implement load balancing and fault-tolerant architectures.
- Maintain high system availability.
Security & Compliance
- Implement secure data handling and transaction systems.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Protect user data and prevent fraud.
- Maintain auditability of system operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 9+ years of experience in fintech or platform engineering.
- Strong expertise in distributed systems and backend architecture.
- Experience with consumer-facing applications.
- Proven leadership in engineering teams.
