Role Overview
A next-generation fintech ecosystem is building a cloud-native banking platform designed to support digital accounts, payments, lending, and financial analytics at massive scale.
The architecture is built on microservices, containerized deployments, and distributed systems that must operate with high availability, low latency, and seamless scalability.
To lead this engineering domain, the organization is seeking a Head of Fintech Platform Engineering – Cloud-Native Banking Systems & Scalable Infrastructure.
This role is responsible for designing and managing the infrastructure that powers modern banking platforms—ensuring performance, resilience, and operational efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
Platform Architecture & Engineering
- Design cloud-native infrastructure for fintech platforms.
- Build scalable systems supporting digital banking services.
- Implement microservices-based architectures.
- Ensure seamless integration across system components.
Infrastructure Scalability & Performance
- Optimize system performance under high transaction volumes.
- Implement load balancing and auto-scaling strategies.
- Ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
- Monitor system health and performance metrics.
DevOps & Continuous Delivery
- Establish CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployment.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
- Support continuous system improvement.
Security & Compliance
- Implement secure infrastructure frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with financial and data regulations.
- Protect systems against cyber threats.
- Maintain auditability of infrastructure operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 9+ years of experience in platform engineering or cloud systems.
- Strong expertise in distributed systems and cloud technologies.
- Experience with large-scale fintech platforms.
- Proven leadership in engineering teams.
