Role Summary

The Senior Digital Payments Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of digital payment platforms, ensuring seamless processing, optimal performance, and compliance with UAE financial regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, operational expertise, and experience managing large-scale transaction systems in a fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of digital payment systems, including card networks, mobile wallets, and real-time payments.
• Monitor transaction volumes, success rates, and system latency, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
• Coordinate with technical, product, and compliance teams to implement system upgrades and operational enhancements.
• Oversee reconciliation and settlement processes across multiple banking and payment partners.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for payment operations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, including AML, KYC, and reporting standards.
• Manage relationships with third-party payment processors, banks, and fintech partners.
• Prepare detailed operational reports and KPI dashboards for executive management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in digital payments, fintech operations, or banking operations.
• Strong understanding of payment rails, clearing and settlement mechanisms, and transaction flows.
• Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and compliance requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with API-based payment integrations.
• Experience with fraud detection and risk monitoring systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
