Role Overview
A sophisticated fintech ecosystem in Dubai is seeking a highly analytical and market-savvy Senior Crypto Portfolio Manager – Digital Asset Allocation, Risk Engineering & Yield Strategies to lead the construction, optimization, and performance of diversified digital asset portfolios.
This is a front-office, alpha-generating role where quantitative rigor meets market intuition. You will design multi-asset crypto portfolios spanning major assets, altcoins, tokenized instruments, and yield-generating strategies—while actively managing volatility, liquidity risk, and market cycles.
The role demands deep expertise in portfolio theory, blockchain markets, and on-chain analytics, combined with the ability to navigate rapidly evolving digital asset ecosystems.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and manage diversified crypto portfolios aligned with risk-return objectives
- Conduct market analysis, technical analysis, and on-chain data interpretation
- Develop allocation strategies across spot assets, derivatives, and yield products
- Monitor portfolio performance and rebalance based on market conditions
- Implement risk management frameworks including drawdown control and exposure limits
- Identify alpha opportunities across emerging tokens, sectors, and narratives
- Collaborate with trading and research teams to execute strategies
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools for portfolio tracking
- Ensure compliance with UAE digital asset regulations and internal policies
- Stay updated on macroeconomic trends and crypto market developments
- Communicate portfolio insights to stakeholders and leadership
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in portfolio management, trading, or digital assets
- Strong understanding of crypto markets and blockchain ecosystems
- Experience with financial modeling and risk analysis
- Proficiency in Excel, Python, or data analysis tools
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with derivatives trading and hedging strategies
- Knowledge of DeFi protocols and yield farming
- Familiarity with on-chain analytics tools
- Certifications in finance or investment management
