Role Overview

This position is designed for a professional responsible for managing and refining the operational backbone of digital banking services. As a Digital Banking Operations & Process Manager, you will ensure that day-to-day financial operations—ranging from account activities to transaction processing—run efficiently, securely, and in alignment with regulatory expectations.

The role requires a blend of operational expertise, process improvement capabilities, and familiarity with fintech-driven banking systems.


Operational Scope

1. Core Banking Operations Management

  • Oversee digital account operations including onboarding, account maintenance, and transaction handling
  • Ensure seamless execution of payment processing, transfers, and account updates
  • Monitor operational workflows and ensure adherence to defined service standards

2. Process Optimization & Efficiency

  • Analyze current operational procedures and identify inefficiencies
  • Redesign workflows to improve turnaround times and reduce manual intervention
  • Implement automation strategies where applicable

3. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work closely with product, engineering, and compliance teams
  • Align operational processes with system capabilities and regulatory requirements
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders

4. Performance & Reporting

  • Track operational KPIs such as transaction success rates, processing times, and error rates
  • Prepare detailed reports for internal review and decision-making
  • Recommend improvements based on data-driven insights

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 4–6 years of experience in banking operations or fintech environments
  • Understanding of digital banking systems and transaction flows
  • Strong analytical and process improvement skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with workflow automation tools
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements in Bahrain’s financial sector
  • Ability to manage multiple operational processes simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
