Lead the Next Generation of Global Payment Innovation
An internationally expanding financial technology organization is seeking an accomplished Quantum Payments Strategy Director to architect and execute transformative payment strategies that redefine how businesses and consumers move money across domestic and international financial ecosystems.
This executive leadership position will influence enterprise-wide payment modernization initiatives, oversee strategic partnerships, optimize payment rails, and champion innovation across instant payments, digital wallets, merchant acquiring, and financial interoperability throughout the GCC and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop long-term payment transformation strategies aligned with corporate growth objectives.
- Lead modernization initiatives across payment processing and settlement infrastructure.
- Identify emerging technologies capable of enhancing payment efficiency and resilience.
- Build strategic alliances with banking institutions, payment processors, and technology providers.
- Monitor payment ecosystem performance through enterprise KPIs and analytics.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on platform scalability.
- Strengthen governance surrounding payment risk, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance.
- Present strategic investment recommendations to executive leadership.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams responsible for payment innovation programs.
- Represent the organization during regional financial technology forums and executive engagements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in payments, fintech, banking, or financial infrastructure.
- Comprehensive understanding of digital payment ecosystems and transaction processing.
- Outstanding executive leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
