Quantitative Mission
We are seeking a highly analytical Quantitative professional to develop mathematical and statistical frameworks for digital-credit decisioning and portfolio optimization.
The position is designed for someone comfortable working with probability, statistical inference, predictive modelling and large financial datasets, with a clear understanding that quantitative models must ultimately improve real-world financial decisions.
Responsibilities

Develop predictive models for credit performance and portfolio behaviour.

Build statistical frameworks for customer-level credit assessment.

Analyse historical transaction and repayment data.

Develop probability-of-default and portfolio-performance methodologies.
-
Conduct model validation, back-testing and sensitivity analysis.

Develop forecasting models for credit demand and portfolio performance.
-
Identify variables associated with changing customer repayment behaviour.
-
Build analytical frameworks for customer segmentation.
-
Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deploy quantitative models.
-
Monitor model performance and identify deterioration in predictive accuracy.
-
Conduct scenario analysis and portfolio stress testing.
-
Develop quantitative recommendations for credit-product optimization.
-
Translate complex statistical findings into clear management recommendations.

Maintain rigorous documentation of methodologies, assumptions and limitations.
Qualifications
-
Master’s degree or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Finance, Physics, Data Science or a related quantitative field preferred.

4+ years of quantitative modelling experience in fintech, banking, credit or financial analytics.

Advanced Python and SQL capabilities.

Strong knowledge of statistical modelling and machine learning.

Experience with credit-risk analytics or portfolio modelling.

Strong understanding of model validation and performance measurement.

Excellent analytical and communication skills.
