Position Overview
An exciting opportunity is available for a detail-oriented and quality-driven QA/QC Engineer to play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of enterprise financial technology platforms. This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about software quality assurance, process excellence, and delivering seamless digital experiences across modern banking and payment ecosystems.
The successful candidate will collaborate with software engineers, product managers, DevOps specialists, business analysts, and cybersecurity professionals to establish robust quality assurance frameworks, execute comprehensive testing strategies, and maintain the highest standards of software performance and compliance throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans.
- Design functional, integration, regression, system, API, and performance test cases.
- Validate fintech applications, payment systems, and digital banking platforms before production deployment.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using issue management tools.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve defects efficiently.
- Perform API testing using industry-standard testing tools.
- Execute database validation and backend testing activities.
- Verify application performance, scalability, reliability, and usability.
- Participate in Agile sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support continuous integration and continuous testing initiatives.
- Develop automated testing scripts to improve testing efficiency.
- Ensure software releases comply with internal quality standards.
- Prepare detailed testing documentation and quality reports.
- Recommend improvements to software development and testing processes.
- Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement across engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience in software QA/QC within fintech, banking, enterprise software, or technology environments.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience with API testing and database validation.
- Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect tracking platforms.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
