A fast-growing fintech ecosystem transforming embedded finance and intelligent digital commerce infrastructure is seeking an accomplished Principal UX/UI Architect – Embedded Finance Platforms & Digital Commerce Experiences to lead one of the Gulf region’s most innovative financial-commerce design modernization programs.
This organization is building advanced embedded finance ecosystems integrating digital payments, instant lending, merchant finance, loyalty intelligence, subscription billing, AI-powered checkout optimization, and real-time customer engagement systems directly into e-commerce, retail, logistics, hospitality, and mobility platforms.
The role is designed for highly strategic UX/UI architects capable of creating frictionless financial experiences where commerce and fintech interactions blend seamlessly into intuitive customer journeys.
The selected candidate will shape enterprise-wide digital experience strategy across embedded finance products, merchant ecosystems, mobile commerce environments, and intelligent payment interaction platforms.
Strategic Executive Overview
The Principal UX/UI Architect will lead the design and optimization of embedded finance interaction systems, digital commerce experiences, customer journey frameworks, and enterprise financial engagement platforms.
This role combines UX architecture, fintech innovation, behavioral design engineering, customer experience modernization, and enterprise product scalability strategy.
Core Responsibilities
- Design frictionless embedded finance experiences across digital commerce ecosystems
- Develop scalable UX architecture supporting payments, lending, subscriptions, and loyalty platforms
- Build intelligent checkout systems improving conversion and customer engagement
- Create adaptive interaction models supporting mobile commerce and real-time financial services
- Conduct behavioral UX research focused on customer purchasing and transaction patterns
- Collaborate with engineers and product teams to optimize financial user journeys
- Develop enterprise design systems supporting multi-platform commerce ecosystems
- Improve customer trust through intuitive security and payment interaction design
- Optimize digital onboarding and transaction completion experiences
- Guide motion design and micro-interaction strategies across fintech products
- Evaluate emerging technologies shaping future embedded finance experiences
- Mentor multidisciplinary design teams across UX research, UI engineering, and interaction design
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX/UI Design, Interactive Media, Product Design, or related field
- 8–15 years of experience in UX architecture, fintech design, or digital commerce product ecosystems
- Strong expertise in embedded finance, payment UX, and e-commerce interaction design
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Framer, or interaction design tools
- Deep understanding of mobile-first product ecosystems and conversion optimization
- Experience leading enterprise-scale design modernization programs
- Strong portfolio showcasing sophisticated fintech or commerce experiences
- Exceptional communication and creative leadership abilities
