Strategic Role Overview
A sophisticated fintech institution in Doha is recruiting a highly experienced Principal RegTech Analyst – Regulatory Architecture, Data Governance & Strategic Compliance Innovation to lead enterprise-level regulatory technology initiatives.
This role is designed for a top-tier professional capable of architecting end-to-end compliance ecosystems that integrate regulatory intelligence, data governance, and advanced analytics. You will define how compliance is embedded into financial systems, ensuring that regulatory requirements are met with precision, efficiency, and scalability.
Operating at a strategic level, you will influence compliance frameworks, data governance policies, and long-term regulatory strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise RegTech architecture for fintech platforms
- Develop regulatory intelligence systems and compliance frameworks
- Ensure data governance, integrity, and regulatory alignment
- Build advanced analytics tools for compliance monitoring and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance into systems
- Conduct regulatory impact assessments and risk analysis
- Lead compliance audits and ensure audit readiness
- Mentor teams and drive compliance strategy
- Evaluate emerging RegTech technologies and solutions
- Ensure adherence to Qatar financial regulations and global standards
- Optimize compliance processes for efficiency and scalability
- Provide strategic insights to executive leadership
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Law, Data Science, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in RegTech, compliance, or financial risk management
- Strong expertise in regulatory frameworks and compliance systems
- Experience with data governance and analytics
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Expertise
- Experience with AI/ML in compliance systems
- Knowledge of global regulatory standards and frameworks
- Familiarity with fintech platforms and financial systems
- Exposure to advanced data architecture and governance tools
