About The Opportunity
A cutting-edge fintech organization is seeking a Principal Fintech Python & Java Architect to design and build large-scale digital financial ecosystems supporting banking infrastructure, embedded finance platforms, intelligent payment systems, and enterprise-grade fintech applications.
This role is intended for senior-level engineers and architects capable of designing end-to-end financial systems that combine backend engineering excellence, architectural leadership, and deep fintech domain understanding.
The successful candidate will play a strategic role in defining the technological backbone of next-generation financial services across digital banking, payments, lending, and financial automation platforms.
Leadership & Technical Responsibilities
Enterprise Architecture Design
- Design scalable fintech system architectures.
- Define backend engineering frameworks and standards.
- Build resilient, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Ensure architectural alignment with business strategy.
Python & Java Engineering Excellence
- Lead development of backend systems in Python and Java.
- Build high-performance APIs and financial services modules.
- Optimize system throughput and scalability.
- Design reusable financial system components.
Digital Financial Ecosystem Development
- Build platforms supporting digital banking services.
- Develop embedded finance capabilities.
- Support intelligent payment and transaction systems.
- Enable cross-platform financial integrations.
Cloud & Infrastructure Strategy
- Architect cloud-native fintech environments.
- Design scalable microservices infrastructures.
- Improve system resilience and disaster recovery frameworks.
- Optimize infrastructure performance and cost efficiency.
Innovation & Technical Leadership
- Mentor engineering teams.
- Evaluate emerging fintech technologies.
- Drive architectural innovation initiatives.
- Contribute to long-term technology strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- 7–12 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in Python and Java development.
- Proven experience in fintech or enterprise-scale systems.
