A highly sophisticated fintech institution in Doha is recruiting a top-tier Principal Embedded Finance Architect – Financial Infrastructure, Platform Engineering & Scalable Integration to design and lead enterprise-level embedded finance architecture across complex digital ecosystems.
This role is designed for a senior professional capable of building scalable financial infrastructure that enables seamless integration of financial services into third-party platforms at scale.
You will operate at a strategic and technical level—defining architecture, guiding engineering teams, and ensuring that embedded finance systems are secure, scalable, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect enterprise embedded finance platforms and infrastructure
- Design scalable APIs for payments, lending, and financial services
- Integrate financial systems with external platforms and ecosystems
- Ensure security, scalability, and performance of embedded finance solutions
- Lead technical strategy and mentor engineering teams
- Ensure compliance with Qatar financial regulations and global standards
- Optimize system performance and integration efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Evaluate emerging technologies and integration frameworks
- Drive innovation in embedded finance architecture
- Align technical solutions with business objectives
- Provide strategic insights to executive leadership
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in fintech, platform engineering, or system architecture
- Strong expertise in API design, microservices, and cloud platforms
- Experience with financial systems and embedded finance solutions
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Expertise
- Experience with large-scale platform integrations
- Knowledge of payment systems and digital financial services
- Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and DevOps
- Exposure to fintech ecosystems and digital platforms
