Position Summary
An internationally focused fintech innovation programme is seeking a highly accomplished Principal Cloud Security Architect – Financial Platforms to lead the design, implementation, and continuous evolution of secure cloud-native financial infrastructure.
This role is responsible for protecting mission-critical financial applications while ensuring enterprise scalability, regulatory alignment, operational resilience, and secure digital transformation across modern cloud environments.
Core Responsibilities
Cloud Security Architecture
- Design secure multi-cloud financial infrastructure.
- Develop enterprise security architecture standards.
- Strengthen cloud governance frameworks.
- Implement Zero Trust security principles.
Infrastructure Engineering
- Secure cloud-native applications.
- Improve infrastructure resilience.
- Automate security controls.
- Enhance disaster recovery capabilities.
- Optimize cloud performance.
Leadership
- Mentor cloud engineering teams.
- Lead enterprise security initiatives.
- Review technical architecture.

Essential Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- 10–15 years of enterprise cloud engineering or cybersecurity experience.
- Strong understanding of financial infrastructure security.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud environments.
- Excellent technical leadership skills.
