The Opportunity
We are seeking an accomplished Lead to shape the architecture and commercial evolution of open-banking and API-driven financial ecosystems.
This role combines financial-services strategy with technical platform leadership. The successful candidate will help establish an ecosystem in which banks, fintechs, merchants and third-party platforms can securely exchange financial services and data through scalable digital interfaces.
Key Responsibilities

Define the strategic roadmap for open-banking and API capabilities.

Lead development of scalable API ecosystems connecting financial institutions and fintech platforms.

Establish API governance, lifecycle-management and integration standards.

Identify opportunities for embedded financial services and third-party distribution.

Work with engineering teams on secure, resilient and high-performance integrations.

Develop partnership frameworks for banks, fintechs and technology providers.

Monitor API performance, adoption, reliability and commercial utilisation.

Translate market requirements into technical and commercial priorities.

Establish documentation and developer-experience standards.

Advise senior leadership on emerging opportunities within the API economy.
Required Experience
-
7+ years in fintech, banking technology, API platforms, digital banking or enterprise technology.

Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices and integration architecture.

Experience with open-banking ecosystems or financial-data platforms.

Strong stakeholder and partnership-management capabilities.

Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary technology initiatives.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline.

Indicative Compensation: SAR 38,000–55,000 per month + benefits.
