A fast-growing international fintech company is recruiting a highly skilled Lead FinTech Data Platform Engineer to design and optimize enterprise-scale data platforms supporting digital payments, customer intelligence, fraud analytics, and real-time financial reporting.
You will play a central role in building cloud-native data ecosystems capable of processing billions of financial events while enabling advanced analytics and AI-driven decision-making.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design enterprise financial data architectures.
- Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and streaming data platforms.
- Build cloud-native data infrastructure supporting AI and analytics.
- Optimize performance, reliability, and security of financial data systems.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and DevOps teams.
- Implement data governance and quality frameworks.
- Automate deployment and infrastructure monitoring.
- Conduct technical architecture reviews and performance optimization.
- Mentor engineering teams on modern data engineering practices.
- Evaluate emerging technologies for enterprise adoption.
Professional Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in data engineering or platform engineering.
- Expertise in Python, SQL, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with fintech, payment systems, or enterprise analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
