A rapidly growing fintech enterprise is seeking a visionary Lead Fintech Data Platform Developer to build advanced data platforms that power fraud analytics, payment intelligence, customer insights, regulatory reporting, and predictive financial decision-making.
You’ll play a strategic role in designing high-performance data architectures capable of processing billions of financial events while supporting AI-driven banking and payment services.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise financial data platforms.
- Build scalable ETL and streaming data pipelines.
- Engineer real-time transaction analytics solutions.
- Design secure financial data APIs.
- Optimize distributed databases and data warehouses.
- Integrate AI and machine learning services.
- Implement automated data quality frameworks.
- Collaborate with cloud engineering and product teams.
- Lead architecture decisions for financial data platforms.
- Mentor software and data engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- 5+ years of software or data platform engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with Apache Spark and Kafka.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience working within cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of scalable data architecture.
