The Role

As the Lead FinTech Backend Engineer, you will work closely with enterprise architects, cybersecurity specialists, data engineers, and product leaders to deliver mission-critical financial systems.
Primary Duties
- Design distributed financial systems with high availability.
- Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, .NET, or Node.js.
- Build secure payment processing engines.
- Develop APIs supporting financial integrations.
- Improve system resilience and fault tolerance.
- Optimize database architecture and query performance.
- Implement event streaming solutions.
- Integrate fraud detection services.
- Perform architecture reviews.
- Lead Agile software delivery teams.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams.
- Improve deployment automation.
- Maintain software quality standards.
- Drive engineering innovation initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years of backend development.
- Experience in fintech or financial services.
- Expertise in microservices architecture.
- Strong SQL and NoSQL experience.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong Git workflow knowledge.
- Experience with distributed systems.
