Position Overview
A leading fintech innovator is seeking a highly accomplished Lead Financial Platform Performance Engineer to optimize the speed, resilience, and scalability of enterprise financial platforms supporting millions of digital transactions every day.
This role combines cloud engineering, distributed systems, software optimization, and operational intelligence to ensure customer-facing financial applications consistently deliver exceptional performance under demanding workloads.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design enterprise performance optimization strategies.
- Conduct large-scale application performance analysis.
- Build automated performance testing frameworks.
- Optimize APIs, databases, and distributed services.
- Improve cloud resource efficiency and infrastructure utilization.
- Collaborate with software engineers and cloud architects.
- Establish enterprise performance monitoring standards.
- Lead capacity planning and scalability initiatives.
- Mentor engineering teams on optimization techniques.
- Evaluate emerging performance engineering technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in performance engineering, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise software development.
- Strong expertise in distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
- Experience optimizing mission-critical financial platforms.
- Excellent technical leadership and analytical problem-solving skills.
