An ambitious fintech banking organization is expanding its digital transformation division and is seeking a visionary Lead Digital Experience Designer to redefine how customers interact with intelligent financial services.
This strategic leadership position is ideal for an experienced UX/UI professional capable of designing sophisticated banking ecosystems that integrate digital payments, open finance, customer identity verification, personal finance management, investment solutions, SME banking, and AI-enhanced customer engagement.
The successful candidate will lead complex product initiatives while mentoring designers and influencing enterprise-wide design standards that elevate customer satisfaction and digital adoption.
Core Responsibilities
- Define enterprise UX strategies supporting digital banking transformation.
- Lead complex fintech product design initiatives across multiple business units.
- Build scalable enterprise design systems.
- Create seamless omnichannel customer experiences.
- Develop advanced interaction models for mobile and desktop banking.
- Design frictionless onboarding, authentication, payment, and account management journeys.
- Analyze customer behavior using analytics and usability metrics.
- Facilitate customer workshops and design sprints.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Compliance, Risk, Fraud Prevention, Product Management, and Marketing teams.
- Improve accessibility and inclusive financial experiences.
- Introduce AI-assisted personalization into banking interfaces.
- Conduct heuristic evaluations and usability testing.
- Present strategic design recommendations to executive leadership.
- Mentor junior UX/UI professionals and establish design best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Design, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Master’s qualification preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of enterprise UX/UI experience.
- Proven experience designing complex banking or fintech products.
- Exceptional portfolio demonstrating customer-centered innovation.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams.
