Role Overview
A fast-scaling fintech innovator is seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Platform Engineer to design and optimize high-performance data infrastructure that powers real-time financial analytics, intelligent automation, fraud monitoring, customer insights, and predictive business intelligence.
This role offers the opportunity to architect cloud-native data ecosystems capable of processing billions of financial events while enabling advanced analytics across enterprise operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design enterprise data platform architecture.
- Develop scalable streaming and batch data pipelines.
- Build cloud-native analytics infrastructure.
- Optimize data processing performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with AI engineers and software developers.
- Implement enterprise data governance and quality frameworks.
- Enhance platform observability and operational monitoring.
- Support advanced financial reporting and business intelligence initiatives.
- Mentor engineering teams on modern data engineering practices.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, or Software Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of professional data engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in distributed data platforms and cloud technologies.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale analytics infrastructure.
- Excellent leadership and analytical problem-solving skills.
