A unique opportunity exists for a highly specialized backend engineering expert to design and build the core systems powering AI-driven financial intelligence, risk analytics, and predictive financial infrastructure.
The Lead Backend Engineer – AI Financial Intelligence Engines, Risk Systems & High-Performance Data Infrastructure will be responsible for developing backend platforms that support machine learning pipelines, real-time risk scoring engines, fraud detection systems, and intelligent financial decision systems.
This role demands deep expertise in backend scalability, data engineering, distributed processing, and AI system integration within mission-critical financial environments.
Core Engineering Responsibilities
AI Backend Infrastructure
- Build backend systems supporting large-scale machine learning pipelines for financial intelligence and predictive analytics.
- Design feature stores, model serving infrastructure, and real-time inference systems for financial AI applications.
- Enable continuous data flow between financial systems and AI decision engines.
Risk & Fraud Detection Systems
- Develop backend engines for real-time fraud detection, anomaly detection, and financial risk scoring.
- Implement streaming analytics pipelines for continuous monitoring of financial behavior patterns.
- Design adaptive risk models that evolve based on transactional data and behavioral signals.
High-Performance Data Engineering
- Architect distributed data processing systems capable of handling massive financial datasets.
- Build ETL/ELT pipelines optimized for real-time and batch financial analytics workloads.
- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and low-latency availability across backend systems.
System Reliability & Optimization
- Optimize backend services for high availability, fault tolerance, and horizontal scalability.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks for AI-driven financial systems.
- Design disaster recovery systems for mission-critical financial intelligence platforms.
Required Expertise Profile
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence Systems, or Backend Software Engineering.
- 10–18 years of experience in backend engineering, data infrastructure, fintech systems, or AI platform development.
- Strong expertise in distributed systems, big data technologies, streaming frameworks, and backend API design.
- Experience working with machine learning infrastructure, real-time analytics systems, or financial data platforms.
- Deep understanding of system performance optimization and scalable backend architecture.
