Role Overview
An emerging regional fintech ecosystem is seeking an accomplished Head of Embedded Finance Ecosystems to lead the commercialization and expansion of next-generation financial infrastructure across enterprise platforms. This executive role focuses on integrating regulated financial products into digital commerce, telecommunications, healthcare, logistics, mobility, and enterprise software ecosystems throughout the Gulf region.
The successful candidate will establish strategic partnerships, develop scalable embedded finance frameworks, and oversee cross-functional teams responsible for product innovation, regulatory collaboration, commercial growth, and technology delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise-wide embedded finance strategies.
- Lead Banking-as-a-Service product expansion.
- Build Open Banking partnerships with financial institutions.
- Drive API monetization initiatives.
- Expand digital lending and payment ecosystems.
- Establish strategic alliances with fintech innovators.
- Oversee embedded wallet implementation.
- Lead commercial negotiations with enterprise clients.
- Monitor regulatory developments affecting digital finance.
- Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams.
- Optimize customer financial journeys using AI-driven analytics.
- Present executive performance reports to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Economics, Business or related discipline.
- MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years in fintech, banking, digital payments, or financial technology leadership.
- Deep knowledge of API banking architecture.
- Experience with Open Banking frameworks.
- Strong commercial negotiation expertise.
- Exceptional executive communication skills.
- Proven experience scaling fintech partnerships internationally.
