Reinvent the Core of Modern Banking
A multinational financial technology organization is embarking on one of the Gulf region’s most ambitious banking modernization initiatives and is seeking a visionary Global Director – Fintech Platform Modernization & Core Banking Transformation.
This executive leadership role is responsible for replacing legacy financial infrastructure with intelligent, cloud-native platforms that enable real-time banking, seamless digital experiences, scalable payment capabilities, and enterprise resilience.
You will direct multi-country transformation programmes, oversee strategic technology investments, and collaborate with executive leadership to build a future-ready financial ecosystem capable of supporting millions of retail, corporate, and institutional customers.
Your Executive Mandate
Enterprise Transformation
- Lead modernization of core banking platforms.
- Develop enterprise technology roadmaps.
- Direct multi-year digital transformation programmes.
- Oversee cloud migration initiatives.
- Align technology investments with business strategy.
Architecture & Engineering
- Champion API-first financial ecosystems.
- Build scalable cloud-native banking platforms.
- Optimize enterprise integration architecture.
- Improve high-availability infrastructure.
- Accelerate intelligent automation initiatives.
Business Leadership
- Build strategic alliances with technology partners.
- Present modernization strategies to executive boards.
- Lead global engineering organizations.
- Drive operational excellence across business units.
- Mentor senior technology executives.
Governance
- Ensure regulatory readiness.
- Strengthen cybersecurity governance.
- Improve enterprise resilience.
- Monitor strategic programme delivery.
- Establish performance measurement frameworks.
Executive Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, or related discipline.
- MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of enterprise technology leadership within banking or fintech.
- Proven expertise in core banking transformation, cloud architecture, enterprise integration, API ecosystems, and digital banking.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
