A high-growth financial technology enterprise is seeking an innovative Global Director – Digital Merchant Solutions & Smart Payments to lead the expansion of enterprise merchant ecosystems and intelligent payment technologies serving retail, e-commerce, hospitality, healthcare, logistics, and multinational corporate clients.
This leadership position focuses on developing merchant acquisition strategies, payment acceptance technologies, omnichannel commerce solutions, and strategic alliances that deliver exceptional customer experiences while accelerating regional commercial growth.
Primary Responsibilities
Merchant Growth
- Expand enterprise merchant acquisition programmes.
- Build omnichannel payment acceptance solutions.
- Strengthen merchant loyalty strategies.
- Develop commercial pricing frameworks.
Innovation
- Introduce next-generation payment technologies.
- Improve digital checkout experiences.
- Enhance payment acceptance performance.
- Support AI-powered commerce initiatives.
Leadership
- Lead multidisciplinary commercial teams.
- Build strategic financial partnerships.
- Represent the organization during international commerce and fintech events.
- Deliver executive market intelligence reports.
Required Experience
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or Financial Technology.
- MBA preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of commercial leadership experience.
- Extensive merchant payments background.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading regional business expansion.
