Role Overview
This role combines strategic oversight and operational execution in the area of regulatory reporting and data governance, ensuring that fintech systems produce accurate, compliant, and timely financial data for regulators and internal stakeholders.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Develop frameworks for regulatory reporting across fintech operations
- Establish data governance policies and standards
- Align reporting processes with evolving regulatory requirements
Execution Responsibilities
Regulatory Reporting
- Prepare and submit financial and compliance reports
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of reported data
- Coordinate with internal teams for data collection
Data Governance
- Maintain data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems
- Implement data validation and control mechanisms
- Monitor data flows and resolve discrepancies
System & Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies in reporting processes
- Automate data collection and reporting workflows
- Collaborate with technical teams for system enhancements
Audit & Compliance Support
- Support internal and external audits
- Maintain documentation of reporting processes
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- 5–9 years of experience in regulatory reporting, data governance, or fintech compliance
- Strong understanding of financial data systems
- Experience with reporting tools and data analysis
- Ability to manage both strategic and operational tasks
