Role Overview
This role operates as the central command point for real-time payments operations, ensuring continuous uptime, transaction accuracy, and rapid response to incidents. The position requires constant monitoring, decision-making under pressure, and coordination across payment networks and internal teams.
Command Responsibilities
Real-Time Transaction Oversight
- Monitor live payment transactions across instant payment rails
- Ensure high system availability and minimal latency
- Detect and respond to anomalies in real time
Incident Command & Response
- Lead response to transaction failures or service disruptions
- Coordinate with technical and operational teams to resolve issues
- Maintain incident logs and post-incident reports
Operational Control & Stability
- Maintain operational control frameworks for payment systems
- Ensure system resilience and redundancy measures
- Optimize transaction routing and processing flows
Stakeholder Coordination
- Communicate with payment partners and internal teams
- Provide updates during incidents and operational changes
- Align operations with business objectives
Compliance & Monitoring
- Ensure adherence to payment regulations and operational standards
- Monitor transactions for risk indicators
- Support audit and reporting requirements
Required Qualifications
- 6–10 years of experience in payments operations, fintech, or banking systems
- Strong understanding of real-time payment infrastructures
- Experience managing high-pressure operational environments
- Ability to coordinate remote teams effectively
