Position: Remote Fintech Platform Reliability Engineer
Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Remote)
Role Definition
A technically intensive role focused on ensuring the stability, scalability, and resilience of fintech platforms operating in high-demand environments.
Core Capability Modules
Module A: System Reliability Engineering
- Design and maintain high-availability systems for financial platforms.
- Implement failover mechanisms, redundancy protocols, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Monitor system performance using observability tools and metrics dashboards.
Module B: Infrastructure Optimization
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency and performance scalability.
- Manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and microservices architectures.
- Ensure seamless deployment pipelines through CI/CD frameworks.
Module C: Incident Management & Resolution
- Lead real-time response to system incidents and outages.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative measures.
- Maintain detailed documentation of incident resolution processes.
Module D: Security & Compliance Integration
- Embed security best practices into system architecture.
- Ensure compliance with financial data protection standards.
- Collaborate with risk teams to mitigate cybersecurity threats.
Technical Requirements
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or Go).
- Understanding of financial transaction systems and uptime requirements.
Performance Metrics
- System uptime and availability (SLA adherence).
- Mean time to detect (MTTD) and resolve (MTTR) incidents.
- Infrastructure cost optimization.
