Job Summary
A highly capable Payments Integration Specialist is required to support the design, integration, and maintenance of digital payment systems across a growing fintech ecosystem. This role focuses on ensuring seamless connectivity between payment gateways, banking APIs, and third-party financial services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in payment infrastructures and a practical understanding of how digital transactions flow across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
System Integration & API Management
- Integrate payment gateways, banking APIs, and third-party financial systems
- Maintain secure and scalable API connections
- Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize performance
Payment Flow Optimization
- Analyze transaction flows and identify bottlenecks
- Improve system efficiency and transaction success rates
- Ensure low latency and high availability of payment services
Technical Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams
- Support deployment and testing of new integrations
- Document integration processes and system architecture
Security & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with payment security standards
- Support fraud prevention and risk mitigation measures
- Maintain secure handling of financial data
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 4–8 years of experience in fintech or payments integration
- Experience with RESTful APIs and payment gateways
- Familiarity with transaction processing systems
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of digital wallets and mobile payments
- Understanding of cross-border payment systems
- Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities
