This role is centered on the operational management and continuous optimization of payment gateway systems, ensuring seamless transaction processing, high availability, and consistent performance across digital payment channels.
Strategic Responsibility Layers
Core Transaction Processing Oversight
- Monitor end-to-end payment gateway transaction flows
- Ensure successful authorization, capture, and settlement processes
- Maintain high transaction success rates and low latency
Payment Method Integration & Management
- Oversee integration and performance of multiple payment methods
- Ensure compatibility with card networks and digital payment options
- Maintain system readiness for new payment solutions
Performance Optimization & Scalability
- Identify inefficiencies in transaction routing
- Optimize system performance to handle high transaction volumes
- Support scalability initiatives for growing user demand
Error Handling & Resolution
- Investigate transaction failures and anomalies
- Coordinate resolution with technical teams
- Reduce recurring issues through process improvements
Reporting & Strategic Insights
- Generate detailed reports on payment performance
- Provide insights on transaction trends and system efficiency
- Support strategic decision-making with data analysis
Extended Responsibilities

- Ensure adherence to payment regulations

Required Qualifications
- 5–9 years of experience in payment gateway operations or fintech
- Strong understanding of digital payment systems
