Role Overview
The Payment Gateway Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of online payment processing, ensuring high transaction success rates, system reliability, and seamless integration across merchant platforms.
Role Lifecycle Responsibilities
Setup & Integration
- Coordinate onboarding of merchants onto the payment gateway.
- Ensure proper API integration with merchant platforms.
- Validate system configurations and transaction routing logic.
Transaction Monitoring
- Monitor real-time transaction activity across multiple channels.
- Identify and resolve failed or delayed transactions.
- Ensure optimal routing for maximum approval rates.
Optimization
- Analyze transaction data to improve success rates.
- Reduce latency and enhance processing speed.
- Collaborate with technical teams to improve system performance.
Maintenance & Support
- Provide ongoing operational support for merchants.
- Resolve technical and operational issues.
- Ensure system uptime and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in payment gateway operations or fintech.
- Strong understanding of payment processing systems.
