Role Overview
This position is focused on the technical integration and optimization of payment gateways, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance transaction processing across digital platforms.
System Responsibilities
API Integration & Development
- Design, implement, and maintain integrations with payment gateways
- Develop RESTful APIs to support transaction processing
- Ensure compatibility with various payment methods (cards, wallets, bank transfers)
System Performance & Reliability
- Monitor system performance and optimize transaction processing speed
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in payment flows
- Ensure high system availability and uptime
Security & Compliance
- Implement secure coding practices and encryption standards
- Ensure compliance with payment security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS principles)
- Protect systems against fraud and unauthorized access
Testing & Deployment
- Conduct testing of payment integrations and system updates
- Support deployment and release management processes
- Maintain documentation of system architecture and integrations
Technical Requirements
- 4–8 years of experience in software engineering or fintech integrations
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and web services
- Familiarity with payment gateways and financial systems
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of transaction processing systems
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
