Position Overview
The Fintech Operations & Payments Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of digital payment processes, operational workflows, and transaction lifecycle management. This role combines operational oversight with technical coordination to maintain efficiency across fintech payment systems.
Primary Functions
1. Payments Operations Management
- Monitor daily transaction flows across digital payment channels.
- Ensure timely processing, settlement, and reconciliation of transactions.
- Identify and resolve payment discrepancies or operational bottlenecks.
2. System Coordination
- Liaise with technical teams to address system performance issues.
- Support integration of new payment solutions and APIs.
- Maintain operational documentation and process workflows.
3. Compliance & Controls
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements within Kuwait’s financial ecosystem.
- Support KYC and transaction monitoring processes.
- Assist in audit preparation and compliance reporting.
4. Reporting & Optimization
- Generate operational reports on transaction volumes, success rates, and system uptime.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in fintech operations, payments, or banking.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with payment processing systems and reconciliation tools.
- Ability to manage multiple operational tasks in a remote environment.
