We are looking for a detail-oriented Fintech Operations Analyst to monitor daily operations, investigate issues, analyze performance, and help improve the efficiency of financial processes.
Your Day-to-Day
Transaction Operations
- Monitor daily transaction activity.
- Investigate failed, delayed, rejected, or unusual transactions.
- Coordinate with payment partners and internal teams to resolve issues.
- Track transaction success rates and operational KPIs.
- Support payment and settlement processes.
Reconciliation
- Assist with transaction and account reconciliation.
- Investigate discrepancies between internal and external records.
- Coordinate resolution of outstanding items.
- Maintain accurate operational records.
Performance Analysis
- Analyze operational data and trends.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Identify recurring operational problems.
- Recommend process improvements.
- Track performance against agreed targets.
Incident Management
- Record and monitor operational incidents.
- Coordinate with technology and support teams.
- Track incidents through resolution.
- Analyze root causes and recommend preventative measures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in fintech, banking, payments, financial operations, or business analysis.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of payment and transaction processes.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Advantageous Skills
Experience with:
- SQL
- Power BI
- Payment gateways
- Digital wallets
- Transaction reconciliation
- Card payments
- Payment settlement
- Operational dashboards
- Banking systems
will be highly valued.
