We are seeking a highly analytical Cybersecurity Analyst to monitor security activity, investigate potential threats, support incident response, and strengthen the security posture of fintech systems.
The successful candidate will work closely with cybersecurity engineers, developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to identify threats and reduce security exposure.
Your Responsibilities
Security Monitoring
- Monitor security events across applications, networks, endpoints, and cloud systems.
- Investigate suspicious alerts and unusual activity.
- Review logs and security events using SIEM platforms.
- Identify potential indicators of compromise.
- Escalate confirmed or high-risk security incidents.
Incident Response
- Support investigations into cybersecurity incidents.
- Collect and analyze relevant technical evidence.
- Document incidents and investigative findings.
- Participate in containment and remediation activities.
- Assist with post-incident reviews.
Vulnerability Management
- Conduct vulnerability assessments.
- Track identified vulnerabilities through remediation.
- Work with infrastructure and development teams to resolve security weaknesses.
- Monitor security posture across critical systems.
Threat Intelligence
- Research emerging cybersecurity threats.
- Assess threats relevant to financial technology.
- Track common attack methods and vulnerabilities.
- Recommend improvements to detection and prevention capabilities.
Security Improvement
- Support security assessments and audits.
- Contribute to security policies and procedures.
- Assist with security-awareness initiatives.
- Develop reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of cybersecurity or information-security experience.
- Experience with SIEM or security-monitoring platforms.
- Good understanding of networking and operating systems.
- Knowledge of endpoint and application security.
- Understanding of common cybersecurity threats and attack techniques.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities.
Desirable Certifications
Security+, CEH, CySA+, GCIH, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications will be advantageous.
