Role Summary
This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing open banking connections and API-based integrations between fintech platforms and financial institutions.
Responsibility Pyramid
Foundation Layer: Connectivity Management
- Maintain API connections with partner systems
- Ensure stable and secure data exchange
- Monitor uptime and connectivity performance
Intermediate Layer: Integration Support
- Assist in onboarding new API integrations
- Troubleshoot integration and data flow issues
- Support testing and validation processes
Advanced Layer: Optimization & Scaling
- Improve API performance and response times
- Support scaling of integrations across multiple partners
- Enhance system resilience and reliability
Strategic Layer: Ecosystem Expansion
- Support expansion into new open banking ecosystems
- Collaborate with stakeholders on integration strategies
- Contribute to long-term connectivity planning
Required Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in fintech, API operations, or open banking
- Understanding of API connectivity and data exchange
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work remotely with distributed teams
