Role Summary
This role is built around a continuous audit and control loop, ensuring that fintech operations maintain accuracy, transparency, and compliance through systematic monitoring and verification processes.
Audit & Control Loop
Data Sampling & Review
- Select transaction samples for audit
- Review financial records for accuracy
- Identify inconsistencies or anomalies
Control Validation
- Verify effectiveness of internal controls
- Ensure adherence to operational policies
- Identify gaps in control frameworks
Issue Identification & Escalation
- Document discrepancies and control failures
- Escalate issues to relevant stakeholders
- Ensure timely attention to risks
Resolution Tracking
- Monitor corrective actions
- Ensure issues are resolved effectively
- Prevent recurrence of identified problems
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare audit reports and findings
- Recommend improvements to processes
- Enhance overall operational integrity
Extended Responsibilities
- Collaborate with compliance and operations teams
- Strengthen audit frameworks
- Support regulatory reporting requirements
Required Qualifications
- 5–9 years of experience in audit, controls, or fintech operations
- Strong understanding of financial controls and compliance
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to work remotely with structured audit processes
